Andrea Grace, CPM, LM, LMT

Certified Professional Midwife, Licensed Midwife,

Licensed Massage Therapist

Hi! I am Andrea Grace,  a Certified Professional Midwife, licensed in Iowa and Wisconsin.

I received honor of becoming a Certified  Professional Midwife in June 2024. I  then earned an Iowa Midwife License, this is  a historic time as Iowa has finally licensed Certified Professional Midwives after decades of trying to pass legislation.

The motivation to become a Midwife was driven by my own empowering birth experience.  I believe that when a woman is well supported during her labor and births her baby with confidence,  it sows the seeds for more empowered mothering.

I have also been a licensed massage therapist for 12 years, offering many modalities including prenatal massage.

Through my work, much like the work of The Birth Collective, I strive to shine the light on awareness, advocacy, education, support, resources, and especially community.

Please reach out with any questions about my services or how The Birth Collective can guide you to find what you need.

Riley Andrews, LMHC, LPC

Perinatal Mental Health Therapist, Brainspotting Therapist

Licensed Mental Health Therapist

As the mama of two young kiddos, who is also coping with life’s transitions, I’ve made it my mission to help mamas thrive throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey, ensuring a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle for years to come.

During my first maternity leave, I thought to myself, if I can help mamas manage their mental health and wellbeing (so they don't have to feel like I do right now), I can prevent kiddos from ever needing to come to see me. So, with that epiphany, I became fully trained to work with Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International.

Being a mama is hard. Being a mama who raises emotionally intelligent kids can feel impossible, especially when we are not at our best. I will guide you to find your better than best so that you can raise your littles to be their strongest selves.

It is always an honor to work with a mama who recognizes the importance of filling her cup to be able to pour fully into her family. Thank you for being here for yourself and for your family. I can't wait to see you flourishing, Mama.

Lacy Knipper, M.Ed., AAHCC, CBE

Birth Specialist, Certified Birth Educator, Prenatal Yoga Instructor, & Doula

During my first pregnancy, my husband and I enrolled in a quality, independent birth class that completely changed my experience of pregnancy and helped me have a beautiful, supported, natural birth. Now, after 4 beautiful births, I can look back and pinpoint moments in each of my babies’ births that things likely would have gone very differently without those classes. The specific knowledge and techniques we gained through those classes were so valuable that I knew I wanted to share this information with other families. I became a certified birth educator, prenatal yoga instructor, and doula and began supporting families as they prepare to meet their babies.

Now having served hundreds of families, I continue to see the difference this kind of preparation makes. I am committed to empowering mamas and their partners to walk through pregnancy, birth, and beyond feeling confident, informed, supported, and working as a team.

As the owner of Wonderfully Made Birth Services, I would be honored to support you and help you navigate your birthing journey through private consultation, high-quality birth classes and workshops, prenatal yoga, birth planning, and doula services - preparing your mind and body for a more comfortable and efficient birth.

Becky Franzen IBCLC

International Board Certified Lactation Consultant

Hi, I'm Becky Franzen, IBCLC!
My passion for supporting and encouraging breastfeeding moms comes from
my own experience of breastfeeding my four girls.  I can truly say that the breastfeeding challenges I had changed my life, since I was inspired to earn my master’s degree in women’s health and wellness with a focus in lactation so I could become an IBCLC and offer more services to
families!  I continue to do frequent continuing education, conferences, and classes to broaden and deepen my knowledge so I can provide excellent guidance to all moms. Women are often in the most vulnerable time in their life when they schedule a lactation consultation.  I embrace that time by offering a calm, listening presence where women know they are heard, supported, and
encouraged.  Together, we create a plan for success, whether that is breastfeedin
g, exclusive pumping, bottle-feeding, or a combination of those things.

My private practice, Brave Breastfeeding, serves the tri-state area and offers private one-on-one consultations, prenatal breastfeeding classes and private sessions, and flange fittings in my office in Dubuque and through home visits in Wisconsin and Illinois.  I also offer a free breastfeeding/pumping support group at Statera Integrated Health and Wellness.  I specialize in flange fittings for moms, supporting babies with tongue and lip tie issues and low weight gain, and love seeing moms
be successful on their breastfeeding journey!

See my website, bravebreastfeeding.com for more information or pm me. I look forward to
talking with you!
